  FAQ
What are the advantages of XENON HID technology over traditional halogen bulbs?

More light output
A 35-Watt XENON HID lamp produces up to 3x the lumens at the light source when compared to a 55-Watt halogen bulb.

Whiter light
While the halogen light appears yellowish, the XENON HID lighting system produces a light that is closer to that of natural sunlight.

Increased Visibility
In most nighttime driving/bad weather situations, this combination of a whiter color and a greater light output allows for a safer and more illuminated drive.

Reduced power consumption
XENON HID lamp systems draw significantly less power from your vehicles electrical system.

Greater product life
XENON HID lamp systems are designed to outlast your vehicle. On average these bulbs will last 3-5 times longer than a traditional halogen bulb.

Distinctiveness
Your vehicle will not only have the latest in automotive lighting technologies, but will also have that unique eye-catching appeal. Currently, only high-end vehicles offer this XENON HID lighting system.

What is the difference between genuine XENON HID lights and Xenon gas-filled bulbs?
High Intensity Discharge (HID) is a type of lighting technology that replaces the filament of the light bulb with Xenon gas. The gas is ignited to produce an arc of light, when high voltage is applied. The amount of light output is three times that of a standard halogen bulb. The lamps also glow at a higher light temperature (closer to natural sunlight) that gives it its distinct color and appearance.

Other companies produce halogen bulbs that are gas-filled. They still have a filament as they are halogen technology, but the gas gives the bulb a bluer color when lit. Xenon-filled halogen bulbs produce little or no more light output then standard halogen bulbs of the same wattage.

DO NOT BE FOOLED BY COMPANIES THAT OFFER HID LOOK BULBS! They are not a true XENON HID light system.

What does our HID CONVERSION KIT include?
The HID Conversion Kits include all necessary materials needed for installation. The Kit will include (2) Direct-Plug HID Bulbs (for perfect installation), (2) Ballasts with digital integrated Igniters, along with all necessary wiring. Our  HID Conversion Kits are plug and play, which is perfect for clean and accurate installation.

Are these HID light systems street legal?
Every jurisdiction has its own rules and regulations governing the use of automotive lighting. XENON HID lighting systems that are supplied with the vehicles from the factory are DOT approved.
NO XENON HID conversion kit available from any source is DOT approved if installed outside of the factory. Moreover, in the U.S, this is not street legal for use on public roads. As a result, we officially endorse the kit for exhibition and off-road use and will only sell the kit to be used for these purposes. We are not responsible for buyers who violate the terms of sale while in which they will assume all responsibilities for any unauthorized or unintended use other than exhibition or off-road use.

Why do I have to purchase the whole kit? Why can't I just order the HID Bulbs?
Cars use a 12 Volt Electrical System for their headlights. HID systems use over 20,000 volts to ignite our Bulbs. For this process to work, with out kits we include ballasts, which allow the HID Bulbs to run without a problem. These ballasts are taking in all the necessary energy to keep the HID Bulbs running longer than your automobile.

Will DRL (daytime running lights) or Auto Switch On effect the HID kit?
For vehicles with DRL that use the same bulb for both DRL and low beam you will need to deactivate your DRL. DRL operate on reduced wattage or fluctuating current levels. This will cause the HID system to flicker and burn out prematurely. Please ensure that your OEM headlight harness is providing a constant 12V to ensure that no damage will be caused to the HID system

How long will these bulbs last?
HID XENON lamps are designed to last for the life of your vehicle. They will run for approx 2500 hours. Our lamp kits and bulbs are made of the finest materials available.

Could I re-install the original halogen bulbs after the XENON HID kit has been installed?
With the growing popularity of leasing vehicles, a big concern is whether or not you can bring the vehicle back to its original factory condition. Our kits install with little or no modifications to your vehicle. If need be, the entire kit can be removed and the original halogen bulbs replaced. This kit can be re-installed into another vehicle that uses the same bulb size.

Will I be able to perform the installation myself?
Our HID Kits are plug and play, which gives you the opportunity to do the installation yourself. If you follow the instructions given to you on our installation guide, you will be able to get it done within 30 minutes. Although, easy to install, we are not responsible for any mishaps in the process.

Wouldn't it be better for me to purchase a halogen bulb with higher voltage, instead of buying HID Bulbs?
HID lamps are 35 watts, while standard halogen Bulbs are 55 watts. Although, HID lamps work with less watts, they still produce 3x more light. The halogen lamp with an increase in wattage will make the light brighter, but will still be dimmer than the HID lamps.
